Idahoans are pretty independent, not only in mind but in survival as well. The strength of these characteristics varies depending on where they live, rural or urban. Regardless, no Idahoan can escape the train that is coming down the track towards them. There are many primary issues being dumped on Idaho that are being fought, but more are to come. Just as Idaho faces these threats so do other states. It is time to start expanding preparations as this train gets closer.
By now everyone has probably heard about Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). If not, CBDC is just a digital form of currency but is different than cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin. In March, 2022, the White House issued an Executive Order, Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets, which basically outlined how digital assets should be protected and advanced. Idaho passed HB 583 in 2022 which basically provided the same. CBCD is a digital asset. Unlike cryptocurrency which has no central control, CBDC will be managed through a single, government controlled central bank, with all other financial institutions collapsing. It would also move all financial transactions to online, there would be no further need for cash. Threats associated with this are unprecedented. Loss of privacy, tracking of how money is spent, cyber risks, and the biggest, the ability of the government or other entity having control over how money is spent and shutting that flow of money off if behavior is deemed inappropriate. The Federal Reserve is playing around with the idea of digital currency being used instead of cash, having launched a pilot program with World Economic Forum (WEF) global banks, but big brother government may be making the decision for them. Credit card companies are drooling at the opportunity to enslave you to them as well. Before this train hits, what can Idahoans do to really slow it in its tracks? Top of this list, don't comply. Catherine Austin Fitts is a former federal government official and investment banker. She has been following the CBDC narrative for some time and has some recommendations that each Idahoan can take to thwart, or at least make it more difficult to implement CBDC. For some it might be painful but not as painful if CBDC comes to pass. Easy to do is dropping all online financial activity and start using cash, stop paying bills online, and start using checks. Even Amazon takes checks. In 2021 HB 256 attempted to add a section that would require a seller to accept cash as a form of payment, it did not pass. Maybe this should be brought to the legislature again because of the CBDC threat. Boycott businesses that refuse to take cash. Do not use QR codes and toss out surveillance systems in your home such as Alexa and security cameras. Change out your WiFi for hard-wired internet and remove the internet on your smart phone. Vaccine passports are a stepping stone to a digital identity which is needed for CBDC. Governor Little "banned" vaccine passports in Idaho but only for state services. While there is currently an Idaho bill that supports this, it does not ban vaccine passports for everything and, "This section does not apply to any requirement imposed by the federal government". Contact your legislator for a bill that bans all vaccine passport requirements in the state, here is an example to get them started. Do not participate in biometric identification. Above all, do not comply. Drop the huge global banks for a local financial institution like a local bank or credit union. In addition, boycott the big box stores and products by supporting local businesses, using cash. Consider talking to your legislators about starting a state sovereign bank. The Bank of North Dakota is a good example, except it is entertaining the use of biometric identification. This keeps state money out of global financial institutions. Another topic for discussion is creating a state bullion depository. Legalizing gold and silver tender in Idaho is another consideration as other states have done. What could be better than Idaho only investing in companies that manufacture in Idaho? With a state bank, credit to Idaho entrepreneurs would be more easily obtained. Rather than bringing in WEF corporate monsters that suck our resources, doesn't supporting Idahoans in business make more sense? Building a network of bartering is an excellent way to exploit the expertise and skills of Idahoans. Networks of bartering could be easily set up in local communities. If not already doing so learn how to grow your own food, use it for bartering. In doing so, the need for Digital ID and CBDC lessens as Idahoans can meet their own needs through each other. Australia is probably the leading country being oppressed by these agendas. How a Digital ID system might be started is explained here. Clearly it will start with those who are already tied to the government through benefits such as senior citizens, the disabled, and those on welfare assistance. Canada is under the same threat by its WEF global leader Justin Trudeau but Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe is courageous enough to stand up and say no. Nigeria is an example of how force is being used to implement control with CBDC in spite of their refusal to comply. In spite of this happening in other countries Idaho is just as much at risk. Waiting in the background is The Better Identity Coalition, which has created Digital ID blueprint policies for state government officials, so serfs can "take control" of our "identities and conduct their online business safely and securely". Alert your legislators about this organization and it being nothing more than a front group for WEF corporations. Its full report can be found here, and using driver's licenses as a target is one ploy for implementing Digital ID by this group. While awaiting this monster to arrive, it is actually already here. Governments and corporations are already forcing online use for financial and other transactions. At some point there will be no other option. Educate yourself, friends, family, and neighbors on CBDC. Enlist them to become part of the plan. Don't be fooled by the propaganda that a digital currency is safer, more inclusive, equitable, convenient, or more efficient. Take the time to read information about this and understand it. "If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it." There are more suggestions and resources to learn about in Fitts article, plus she has a video if you would like a pep talk to get started. Alex Newman explains how rapidly CBDC is spreading. Conspiracy theories abound, but CBDC is clearly a coordinated plan across the world, by governments and corporations. Everyone should read the articles and watch the videos to learn more as CBDC is at the heart of the agenda to take final control over our lives. If Idahoans are vested in protecting Idaho and stopping the train, then we must do our part. It is time for everyone to take a step forward in doing something, even if it is just one item on this list. Above all, don't comply.

At the World Government Summit 2023 this booklet, Government in 2071: Guidebook was introduced. The thing is 194 pages long and filled with nothing more than pipe dreams. For sure, it was developed by someone, who knows maybe Artificial Intelligence (AI), that clearly has an intent to control humanity. On page 140 is a graphic where it has been decided how humans will live their life and what they think. On page 146 begins "The Techno-Humanitarian Era", "a new technology-enhanced humanity", with graphics that go on for four pages. Pages 150-170 provides a comparison on how life is lived in 2018 up to 2071 in several different areas. The government polices needed for these changes start on page 181. Nitwits that participated in this vision are on page 21.
No matter how you look at it, this is not good for any child born in the future. Three years ago, World Economic Forum founder and Executive Chairman Klaus Schwab, spoke at the Chicago Council of Global Affairs. His speech was on the same level of rambling by Joe Biden. It becomes more difficult to understand what he is trying to say as the video progresses, and by the time he is asked questions the tendency to tune out increases, but is worth listening to the end to see just how unclear his thinking is, and he slips with a few statements about global governance, with no respect for freedom. On a related note, he declared who would be the "masters of the world" in the future. The new Education Freedom Bill, which has garnered a fair amount of support and opposition, has passed the Senate Education Committee with a do pass recommendation. S1038 would essentially create an Education Savings Account (ESA) of roughly $6,000 per child, giving the parent more options in choosing an educational setting for their child, K-12th grade.
Put aside the groups that are slinging arrows at each other as to whether or not to support or oppose this bill, as both sides are being backed by more powerful groups on their positions. Throwing mud at each other serves no purpose and obfuscates the need for Idahoans to understand the bill. The true reason this bill even emerged is because of the sorry state our school system has become. Public schools have become a factory of indoctrination on social issues, dismissing of parental rights, and how students are even educated is a serious question. For parents who have chosen to either home school or even put their children in private school, those public school issues are serious enough for them to protect their children by removing them. It is very understandable why both sides want to maintain control, parents over their children, schools and teachers over the education system. Basically the bill takes the money that was going to the school and instead keeps it aside, called an Education Savings Account (ESA), for a parent who wants to use it for an alternative education, such as home schooling or private school. The money is held by the state, and through a digital platform parents and educators who want to be part of the system can apply. Either through the Treasurers office or independent contractor, the state would send the money to the educator designated by the parent. If the private school doesn't provide a certain type of education, say for a special need, the parent can obtain that from a public school source and the state will designate the money to the public school to cover the cost. There is some legitimate concern about the way this proposed system is run. While the bill provides for frequent monitoring to ensure the money is being spent appropriately by the parent, and return of the money to the state when no longer used for a private education, this back-and-forth management does cause some concern about the logistics. There are also the privacy concerns and ongoing threats of cyber attacks. If a fraud case by the parent or educator does happen it will be assigned to the Attorney General office which brings the question of burdening that office. Certain curriculum subjects are required but it isn't clear how that will be monitored, or whose responsibility it will be. It was stated that the parent will be accountable for their children being taught whereas it was also pointed out the public school system has accountability systems in place to ensure the child is being educated properly. It seems both accountability stances have issues and problems. There is an upfront cost to start this program and as the program could potentially grow the legislature would allocate the money for it each year, but there would be a cap that could not be exceeded. Similar programs in other states were used as examples of how a program such as this could save money and improve education outcomes. However, if the program was to expand it would also mean an expansion of the government role to administer it. One of the biggest concerns about having the state run a program such as this is the potential intrusion of government regulations, especially by the federal government, this having occurred in other states. As long as federal money is not used for this program there would be no influence with federal regulations. However, while there are protections within the bill that prevent this from happening, the question does remain, what happens with it in the future with other legislators? The bill can certainly be amended by future legislators and once that door to the government is opened, neither parents who home school or private schools will be protected from it. This is a serious and legitimate concern as a driving force behind creating this type of program has been the strangling effect federal government regulations have on public schools. Given the tyrannical federal government we are currently under, there is no reason to believe that this could not happen. Families who home school their children have concerns that they too will be forced into government regulations just as Idaho governs charter schools. Right now there are about "142 private schools serving 17,897 students in Idaho" with "6% of all K-12 students" educated in these settings. 65% are religiously affiliated and with the repeal of the Blaine Amendment, the objections to tax dollars going to a religion based school will be negated, along with the money actually being provided to the parent and their choice in using it for the child's education and not to a school. But there is a more looming threat to spending these dollars on private schools. One of the top rated private schools in Idaho is an International Baccalaureate World School (IB), along with three others that are part of the Idaho Public Charter School Commission. International Baccalaureate schools originate out of the United Nations International School (UNIS) organization, teaching kids from age 3-19. Do Idahoans want their tax dollar going to a United Nations program? While concern was expressed about private schools being run by religious organizations, there should be more concern about the corporate world running in with a network of schools. Corporations have already scored high profits from public education through technology. Aside from the previously mentioned charter schools, there is the possibility of for profit corporations moving in to build schools as happened in Michigan. There are quite a few charter schools in Idaho but it isn't known how many are connected to any profit making machines. But the potential is there. As happened in Michigan, it might bring in more regulatory action by the state if it does occur. That is the last thing that should happen in Idaho and protecting private schools from profit making corporations should be addressed. But that raises the dilemma, can the state deny a private school's right to be funded and run by a large or global corporation? In fact, the WEF is already eyeballing private education for an investment opportunity. It wants more access to early education and it might just be easier with more private schools and cumbersome government schools out of the way. Perhaps seeing the burden early childhood education may place on the public school system, the way to go is to build the infrastructure for it through corporate influence. This is a real risk, especially if government funding will make it more available for families to use. There are no easy answers, both sides of the argument have reasonable concerns even though some of the arguments aren't fully accurate on either side. However, the real problem is not being addressed, nothing is being done about the way in which the public school system has been manipulated into a poorly functioning entity, and rather than fix it, other options are being sought. Millions of dollars are being poured into this education system which hasn't fixed anything, it is only getting worse. All Idahoans are bearing the expense of its failure. Rather than trying to escape this failed system and build another one, why not get the federal government out of it and build a public school system in which Idaho can be proud, based on what Idaho parents want their children to be taught? Then maybe, both sides can be relieved, it will be a real choice of options, whether to home school, use a private school, or continue on with public school. Many Idahoans are actively engaged in the fight against a world that is being deliberately transformed into one that will eventually be under the dictates of corporate technocrats. The current legislative session has brought forth some very significant bills to protect Idahoans from these attacks, such as the protection of children, protection of state assets from Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) models, averting the insane attitudes about gas stoves, and even presenting a declaration for the foundation of our government. What about the other Idahoans who are not engaged and are just sleeping?
President John F. Kennedy (JFK) spent time in England for six months in 1938. During that time, he observed the politics of England and its relationship with Nazi Germany. While his father, Joseph P. Kennedy, supported an appeasement stance, Kennedy took a broader look at the need to confront a tyrant. Based on this experience, he wrote his college thesis in 1940, Appeasement at Munich, later publishing it under the title, Why England Slept. The premise of his observations was England taking an appeasement stance rather than confronting the Nazi regime. England's failure to confront the enemy ended in a far more disastrous outcome. Much of the book is about measures that England took to avoid confrontation, such as its continued vacillation as to whether or not to build up its armament and air forces. The period of appeasement ended with the "Munich Crisis of 1938", when then Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain triumphantly returned home with a piece of paper, signed by Adolph Hitler, that allowed Germany to "annexe parts of Czechoslovakia", thus ensuring peace. England saw an inevitable war up to this point, but with the Munich agreement it was believed that the threat of war was removed. In his book, JFK noted this "sleeping year came to an end at Munich" with Hitler invading Poland within one year, starting WWII. It was during the year leading up to that invasion that England made the decision to build up its strength. Even Chamberlain understood that "weakness in armed strength means weakness in diplomacy". JFK also noted there was a general failure "to realize the strength and power of the German military machine." Idahoans are doing the same, failing to see the strength and power of corporations, especially as a cabal through the World Economic Forum (WEF) and United Nations. Those same cabals sit within Idaho through the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry (IACI). Following the 1940 Battle of Norway and occupation of Holland, there came the expunging of many political officials from England's government, and investment in the protection of England accelerated. "England was now awake", concluded JFK, "that leaders are responsible for their failures only in the governing sector and cannot be held responsible for the failure of a nation as a whole", noting the unfairness in blaming one individual for the problem. A leader is needed who can "look beyond the immediate situation and form some just estimate of changing conditions and eventualities in the future." That type of leadership is certainly not Governor Brad Little. He fails to look forward and understand how his engagements with the WEF and the corporate world through IACI are leading to the complete annihilation of Idaho, let alone America. His relationships, which he has now brought into the Executive Branch, are leading to even greater corporate influence and rights. JFK also concluded that democracy has weaknesses. When democracy competes with a system that cares nothing about peace or individual freedom, "it must learn to safeguard its institutions if it hopes to survive." Our American institutions are being destroyed by a tyrannical government that is lying in bed with the enemy. While our current enemy isn't using bombs for war, it is using the economy for absolute control. JFK continued, "For democracy and capitalism are institutions which are geared for a world at peace." WEF wants to destroy capitalism and have their own version of democracy. Not only do they fail to understand that America is a Republic and not a democracy, the word not even appearing in the Constitution, it is clear they mean democracy as something different. That makes it, and everything they do, our enemy. Winston Churchill tried to warn England of the Nazi threat as early as 1934, underscoring the threat of invasion. Images of carnage were used to frighten the public about the horrors of war and imprint them on children. Our enemy is using climate change and pandemics as threats bringing demise to the world in order to facilitate fear. Idaho has already been invaded and children have already been impacted. Klaus Schwab openly admits his intentions, "The Fourth Industrial Revolution will completely alter how we produce, how we consume, how we communicate and how we live. It will redefine the relationship between citizens and the state." If that statement does not send a chill down one's back and motivate them to take action there is not much more that can be said. Are Idahoans awake, or sleeping as the train wreck comes our way? Can legislators or local elected officials be expected to carry the full weight of fending off the enemy? How educated is the average Idahoan about the Great Reset? What are Idahoans doing to educate their families, neighbors, friends, youth, groups, and churches about the dangers of the Great Reset? Are Idahoans developing a relationship with their legislators and local officials, providing the support they need, and educating them with a thorough understanding of the enemy? What must Idahoans do to safeguard our institutions? Or like England, are many Idahoans just waiting to see what happens without doing anything, clinging to the principles of democracy for peace while storing up their food supplies and ammo? Will they take on the challenge of fighting for freedom before the digital ID and Central Bank Digital Currency attack comes, which will really be the final act that is needed for the global cabal to take control? Are Idahoans reading the vast amount of available information that explains this onslaught and sharing that information for discussion to create measures for protection? Other states share the conundrum. Wyoming has been taking steps to face the enemy, creating legislation that bans electric vehicles, or at least trying to protect their fossil fuel industry. Like Idaho, they too are fighting against the corrupt ESG invasion. Florida Governor DeSantis seems to be taking on several issues to protect his state. Tennessee is even more bold. HB0726 restores sovereignty by nullifying federal laws that exceed its enumerated powers. Idaho should do the same, now. Idahoans need to wake up and do more. As hard as it may seem, Idaho Legislative Services is there to help citizens create bills, and legislators can use the support, they need the expertise and skills of Idahoans to take this fight forward. These activities are the armament that needs to be built now, along with the expungement of elected officials who allow these atrocities to continue just as was done in England. Prepping with food and ammo is important, but is akin to the Brits using the underground for shelter while the bombs fell during the Blitz. They needed armament and air support to fight before the Blitz began. All of the agendas Idaho is fighting right now are the bombs. Idahoans need to use the Constitutional tools to fight. But it is not enough, so many more attacks are coming our way and we need to prepare for them, together. Right now, Idaho is in a defensive position. An offensive position is required and must come soon. It is time Idaho wakes up. Most experts who understand and write about the Great Reset are strongly urging a focus on strengthening local governments, self-sufficiency, and community. For those old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis, President Kennedy held steadfast to the principles laid out in his book, he confronted the enemy rather than trying to work around the situation with appeasement hoping for peace. We no longer have that leadership and must now become the leaders and take control over Idaho's future. President Kennedy's words can be read starting on page 195. This is a discussion about Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) metrics, the importance of how they will help corporations save the planet with a higher cost, and if the consumer chooses to not buy products that are made sustainably, they will be economically punished. Pure corporate control over us. Idaho has been making some significant progress in advancing its status in this progressive world. Many advancements, especially by the state government, have moved Idahoans forward to meet the challenges of the 21st century. We should be proud.
Several areas can be cited for this progress. Accepting federal dollars is a favorite of Governor Little, and he accepted over $4.9 million for improving and expanding internet infrastructure for Idahoans, "Internet for All", towards advancing connectivity. As the world disconnects itself from fossil fuels and moves towards electric vehicles (EV), it demands corridors of charging stations that assist EVs on the road. Former Governor Otter entered into an agreement with seven other states to build a Regional Electric Vehicle Plan for the West that will "enhance EV adoption". The Idaho Transportation Department is also participating in this. Those being regional plans, current Governor Little has also put his hands in the mix by signing other regional agreements through the Western Governors Association. As a past chair of the Idaho Association of Commerce & Industry (IACI), Governor Little has a deep involvement with the most influential global corporations in Idaho, and most likely a commitment to the same corporate philosophies. Idaho is certainly doing well, isn't it? It must be puzzling to hear tales that some global elitist group has the power and ability to take over every aspect of our lives. After all, we have the Constitution, laws, and elected representatives that will protect us from any evil mongering plots by a bunch of bootlickers from foreign countries. No wonder so many consider them conspiracy theories. Even those who are on top of this story sometimes question their own sanity. But once the methodology is understood, it is easy to see how we are not protected from it. Our government, both at the federal and state levels, cannot protect us from this because they are part of it. Here is a brief history of how this happened. First there is the 1992 Agenda 21. To disguise its real motive, it is named Sustainable Development (SD), an action plan for the 21st century for execution at local, national, and global levels. W.J. Clinton obliged by creating the President's Council on Sustainable Development (PCSD) in 1993, which effectively integrated SD principles (aka Agenda 21) into the federal government and integrated corporate, non-governmental organizations (NGO), and Tribal leaders at the table, giving them a powerful if not exclusive voice in legislative decisions. Since that time, Agenda 21 principles, rather SD, has been embedded within the federal government, which has filtered down into states through federal law. In 2015, the United Nations (UN) introduced Agenda 2030, which basically summarized Agenda 21 into 17 simple "Sustainable Development Goals". It was calculated that these goals would be achieved by 2030, fifteen years after their introduction. This is the reason we keep hearing "by 2030", and we are half way there. Four years later in 2019, the United Nations and World Economic Forum (WEF) signed a Strategic Partnership Framework "to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development " and identified "six areas of focus – financing the 2030 Agenda, climate change, health, digital cooperation, gender equality and empowerment of women, education and skills...". How many of these issues currently plague us? So now we come to the Great Reset, initiated in 2020 when Covid-19 arrived, with everything previously mentioned being nothing more than the building blocks for "sustainability" in governments and laying out the propaganda for it. So what is the Great Reset? Simply put, it is the culmination of Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 wrapped up with a neat little bow that now outlines the nuts and bolts of how this 21st Century plan is being executed by the corporate cabal. Full infiltration is found across the world. In 1971, Klaus Schwab brought global corporate leaders together as a non-profit, eventually naming it the WEF, and since that time it has expanded to include most global corporations, foundations, universities, and NGOs, creating the largest corporatist (P3) state the world has ever known. The UN had already gathered most of this cabal together through the Global Compact and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). The WEF was just another more posh club to join. All corporations belonging to these clubs support, integrate, and implement SD in their business models. Even the current president supported it in 2016. The Great Reset foundation is the 4th Industrial Revolution (4thIR), which is the use of technologies to create a "digital world" through computers, digital and smart devices, and the internet. These technologies are used to gather data to implement SD goals. This technology provides connectivity, which is "essential to many of the sustainable development goals" and globalization. All devices will be connected to each other to gather, share, and store data. These connected devices are called the Internet of Things (IoT) as explained in this video. Artificial intelligence (AI) analyzes the data and will eventually be used to decide how we live. Implementation of IoT was advanced with the Covid-19 event through the forced use of online activity. So the 4thIR is about using technology and IoT to collect and share data, using AI to analyze it, then using that information to control everything, achieving Global Governance. Government Transformation is also very much a part of this agenda. The European Union (EU) recently unveiled its Global Gateway plan, which is basically an implementation of a worldwide infrastructure that supports connectivity, with Joe Biden as a willing partner. Agenda 21 provided the framework for embedding SD into the government, Agenda 2030 narrowed the framework into 17 sustainable development goals, and the Great Reset is the actual implementation of SD through technology. Once this is achieved fully, presumably in 2030, we will no longer have control over our lives. Control will be achieved by corporate technocrats analyzing the data collected on you, and with the use of AI, make decisions about every aspect of your life. It will be the new representative government with corporate control. WEF members Microsoft, Google, and Amazon have the most influence over the internet, giving them tremendous control over how the internet is used. A flick of a switch can change everything. Thanks to Governor Little for bringing more internet to all. Kellogg, General Mills, and Nestle, are just a few of the top cereal corporations that have the ability to make their products with insect flour, and there would be nothing you can do to change your cereal choice, or avoid being exposed to whatever else they decide to put in food. General Motors, Toyota, and Honda are three corporations moving to electric vehicles that everyone will be forced to drive. There will be no room for vehicles running on gas. Airline travel could be banned if not you are not vaccinated. Idaho is on its way to support this with its EV charging corridors. DuPont, Cargill, BASF, and Bayer are corporations that have the capability of controlling food supplies. IoT and AI can be used to determine how food is grown and where it is distributed, or what food contains. What does Governor Little have planned for "sustainable agriculture"? Perhaps his membership in the National Governors Association (NGA) will decide. Humana, CVS, UnitedHealth Group, and Pfizer are healthcare corporations that have the ability to control your health care, how treatment is given, and what treatment you will take. Think vaccines. In their cashless society vision, Visa and Mastercard might become the only charge cards available through Bank of America, Citi, or Goldman Sachs, as small banks would no longer exist. All purchases will be monitored. If other companies don't comply with Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, they won't be used and small businesses will collapse. It will be corporate control in partnership with governments and the elimination of jurisdictional boundaries between countries as the whole world will be perceived as "connected" through IoT. Building "Global Ties" is the goal of the NGA. Governor Little has the deep corporate ties in Idaho to execute this. These WEF corporations are just a few examples of how corporate control will be obtained over everyone's lives, and Governor Little's hands are all over many of its objectives. Even Sen. Risch is involved but went into hiding when discovered. How many legislators understand this threat but choose instead to advance these objectives in Idaho? Schwab himself admits the infiltration of his young global leaders into government and that we are being put through a "deep economic transformation" at the 18:55 mark. Who can stop corporations from making all the decisions? SD objectives must be taken out of Idaho. Idahoans need to start making decisions about how far they will participate in this plan. The Constitution, laws, and elected representation are just a start, but other options are nullification, exercising state sovereignty by rejecting any federal law outside of its enumerated powers, and maybe even exercising our duty to abolish. SD must be stopped, and each legislator needs education on this and how their refusal to address it is destroying Idaho. Across Idaho there has been much consternation over the inclusion of LGBT policies in schools, parental rights not being upheld, children being able to access literature on LGBT issues, and activities promoting an LGBT lifestyle. Many Idahoans believe all of this is an act of grooming for inappropriate behavior, a violation of privacy rights for children, a denial of free speech by being forced to use specific language, and an overall exposure to sexual information they believe is inappropriate for their child. But there is a rather more sickening background to the explosion of this issue.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), used for diagnosing and coding psychiatric disorders, was originally created in 1952. Since that time there has been six updated editions with revisions and associated increases in and redefining of mental disorders. Published by the American Psychiatric Association (APA), mental disorders are considered a medical condition. The DSM originally used the term gender identity disorder (GID) which separated diagnostic criteria between boys and girls but basically it stated GID was a desire to be the opposite sex occurring prior to the onset of puberty (Pg 266). In 2012, DSM-V changed GID to gender dysphoria with corresponding changes in the criteria. It was no longer labelled as a disorder, but was redefined as a "marked difference between the individual’s expressed/experienced gender and the gender others would assign him or her, and it must continue for at least six months". The change was also made because "gender dysphoria need a diagnostic term that protects their access to care and won’t be used against them in social, occupational, or legal areas." It was given its own chapter and "separated from Sexual Dysfunctions and Paraphilic Disorders." The APA took their marching orders for these changes from advocacy groups. At the time there was also concern the "new diagnosis does not go far enough to reduce stigma." However, even though no longer classified as a mental illness, the diagnosis was left in there for monetary purposes, providing a way to bill insurance companies for sex reassignment costs. Attempts to find out who those advocacy groups were proved futile. In the 2022 DSM-5 revision, DSM-5-TR, language revisions included gender affirming medical treatment for gender dysphoria. The point in bringing this to light is establishing how the medical profession has incrementally changed the definition, language, criteria, and understanding of this medical condition and how medical professionals would adopt it. Medical professionals are required to learn this information during their medical education, and updated information through continuing education, conferences, and literature. This new definition and criteria of gender dysphoria has been fed to medical professionals for years and has been adopted as a legitimate medical condition which should be integrated into their practice for treatment. The issue itself was being normalized and "gender non-conformity is not in itself a mental disorder.", with an "ultimate goal"..."to categorize TGNC treatment under an endocrine/medical diagnosis." Being a medical condition, gender dysphoria opens the door to legitimate health care for that medical diagnosis. It also opens the door to the availability of education on the issue through schools and libraries. As a medical issue, education cannot be labeled pornography, it is only educational material provided to the individual with a specific medical condition. The American Medical Association (AMA) supports transgender rights and their associated rights to education and treatment. This is how it has been done, retain the diagnosis as a medical condition, redefine and reframe it as a normal and acceptable condition, educate all other providers on it, and then support it. Through all media platforms, entertainment, and celebrities, this has been passed on to the public to garner acceptance and support as well. Recommended APA treatments come from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) which has a U.S. Regional organization, USPATH. Since WPATH was successful in integrating treatment recommendations into the APA, the next step is recommending earlier treatment. USPATH board director, Johanna Olson-Kennedy, MD explains how starting earlier treatment also helps put adolescents "through the right puberty" because it is a "medical intervention" even though it "does not inevitably continue into adulthood" and has associated health risks. The American Library Association (ALA) deems that libraries should be held harmless for providing any and comprehensive sex education material as it is "meant to educate, not arouse". And that is the narrative, it is education for a medical condition, just another medical condition, that's all. Just like going to the library for reading materials on diabetes. The medical profession has normalized this to the point where there is justification for acceptance, tolerance, and a right to education. Showing sexual activity in a book for children with this medical condition is not considered pornography but rather educating them about their condition, providing information and knowledge that will help them, just like the diabetic child. Undoubtedly, the exposure of this information through libraries contributes to children questioning their gender when it might not have ever been an issue entering their minds. Schools are no exception. Nobody would consider discriminating against a child in a wheelchair, or who needs special accommodations for their medical condition. So it is the same here, by affording special accommodations for a child with gender dysphoria. Nothing to do with morality, or pornography, it is just meeting the needs of a medical condition, just like the child having wheelchair access in a bathroom. The federal government has created a law to enforce this mindset, or perhaps a better word would be to force this mindset. No student will "denied full and equal educational opportunities", free from discrimination. Unquestionably, there are serious ethical concerns about this whole issue, which have been raised. Since WPATH designed the standards of care that are endorsed by APA, new concerns have been raised about its proposed new Standards of Care (SOC8). In fact, both Finland and France are pulling back on recommending WPATH standards of care. What is fascinating is that kids don't come out of the gate thinking about sexual matters all the time. It seems that adults are the ones who hold the obsessive fascination on sexual matters and are displacing them onto children. Since 2014 the APA has been an non-governmental organization (NGO) holding an ECOSOC Special Consultative Status with the United Nations (UN) which basically obligates them to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). APA also belongs to FundaMentalSDG which supports and promotes the SDG. Sexual and reproductive health is SDG #3.7 and includes the right to access sexual health care services for information and education by 2030 which is being accomplished. The World Economic Forum also supports "comprehensive sexuality education." Several states have passed legislation to address the transgender issue. Sadly, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) chose to not recognize the rights of others for protection on the same issue of discrimination such as right to privacy, safety, and freedom from humiliation. Nobody seems to be very concerned about the harm that comes to other students with these policies. Who is going to step forward and protect their rights? SCOTUS will be reviewing this decision, maybe they will look a the rights of others this time. So enough of the agenda to force acceptance and tolerance of a medical condition that, for some, secondarily violates the rights of others. Idaho Code 32-1010, the Idaho Parent Rights Act, protects a parent's "high duty and right to nurture and direct their children’s destiny, including their upbringing and education." Idaho Code 32-1013, Interference with Fundamental Parental Rights Restricted, states "Neither the state of Idaho, nor any political subdivision thereof, may violate a parent’s fundamental and established rights protected by this act...", and if violated, "a parent may assert that violation as a claim or defense in a judicial proceeding and may obtain appropriate relief against the governmental entity." Idaho Code 18-4116, Indecency and Obscenity, appears to be very clear. "(1) Exposes his or her genitals, in any public place, or in any place where there is present another person or persons who are offended or annoyed thereby; or (2) Procures, counsels, or assists any person so to expose his or her genitals, where there is present another person or persons who are offended or annoyed thereby is guilty of a misdemeanor." Are school administrators and boards complicit in assisting children in exposing their genitals that other children can find offensive and annoying? Why is the harm to other children not just as big of an issue, why is it only the harm to the child with gender dysphoria being considered if not allowed to use the bathroom of their choice? Does the child expressing their discomfort and being offended not matter as much? Why are their rights not being considered? Perhaps that should be one foundation of the argument. Fortunately, there is some investigation into the legality of the issue in Idaho and other measures being taken to protect children from harm, much to the chagrin of the AMA. Use the law to your advantage folks, you are the parent, you hold the authority over the protection of your child. |
