This animated video gives an interesting background on the truths regarding global warming, and at the very end brings in the United Nations as one of the leaders of the hoax. Given global warming is the guise by which Agenda 21 is promoted, this video points out the misinformation being used to indoctrinate us into thinking humans are the cause of it.
In Chapter 24 on women and health care, 24.3 states "...programmes...should provide the opportunity for all women to fully breastfeed at least during the first four months post-partum."
AAP, a UN NGO, supports Agenda 21 and breastfeeding. There are several lactation organizations that are UN NGOs as well.
Naturally, a study was done supporting this goal of Agenda 21. The study shows that there is increased breast feeding with the use of a "professional", that is a "lactation consultant". No longer is your mother, aunt, sister, grandmother (you know that family support idea), giving you the guidance for breastfeeding, but some stranger who supposedly knows best, even though Grandma breastfed each of her 5 children.
The importance of breastfeeding is understood. However, the issue here is how Agenda 21 does not recognize what should be a traditional family unit's support system. No longer is it good enough, but that their "expert" is the only answer. They do this with Common Core, global warming scientists, regulatory agents, and the list goes on. All of it is a coordinated effort between the UN, professional and non-professional organizations, and the federal government to promote and force Agenda 21 onto you.
Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) is a major focus of the education system now. There is a STEM Education coalition called StemEd, whose mission is "to raise awareness amongst policymakers at every level about the critical role that science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education plays in enabling the U.S. to remain the economic and technological leader of the global marketplace of the 21st century".
There are quite a few corporate, teacher organizations, and universities as members, and 800 affiliates. Many of the affiliates are UN NGOs.
Chief Executive Officers of leading U.S. companies gathered together to form an association called the Business Roundtable (BRT). It is no surprise their members include multiple UN business partners. They also have their hands in a multitude of issues while keeping an eye on the educations system. The United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, UNESCO even joined in supporting STEM, signing an agreement with Intel.
And why shouldn't they, more money for them, more indoctrination of kids, more control over the workforce to meet their needs, and further movement towards a fascist state in America, complements of Agenda 21 and the UN. No longer will children make the decision on what they want to be in life, it will be predetermined by corporations, the UN, and the government.
The Common Core standards promotes the idea that children need to be "work force ready" and to compete in a global world, and these standards will accomplish that task. The UN fully supports this concept through their United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) fully supports this concept through their UNEVOC program, otherwise known as Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

TVET "identifies and shares promising TVET practices"..."for policy makers and practitioners" with an aim of the database "to share knowledge of established innovative practices that promote TVET in a thought-provoking way within a particular local or regional context." Education is there to prepare young people for life and work
Access to the right skills to become an active citizen and participate in economic & social development
Countries develop an active and informed workforce to compete in the globalized world
Supports governments to guide education systems towards quality, equity, relevance, sustainability to meet needs of people and labor market.
It doesn't seem there is room for a child to explore their own interests, it will now be based on the needs identified for them, just like Common Core.
Sustainable Development is also known as Agenda 21.
The connection to Common Core and the United Nations (UN) is well established, through foundations and corporations that fund it, self appointed "experts" who implement it, and teachers who have been indoctrinated on it.
The United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), published a booklet, United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (2005-2014), Education for Sustainable Development Toolkit. In this booklet there is reference to Agenda 21, "reorienting" education, and using teachers as one method to accomplish changing education.
On page 15, What is Education on Sustainable Development (ESD), is a direct reference to Chapter 36 in Agenda 21 that includes 5 priorities.
1. Improving basic education: "...must be reoriented to address sustainability and expanded to include critical-thinking skills, skills to organize and interpret data and information, skills to formulate questions, and the ability to analyze issues that confront communities."
2. Reorienting Existing Education: (pg 16) requires "...reorienting education, (i.e., nursery school through university), basic education includes more principles, skills, perspectives, and values related to sustainability, encompasses a vision that integrates environment, economy, and society, and to participate in a democratic society..." "...current administration and faculty members must reorient university curriculum to include the many and complex facets of sustainability." This has been accomplished, the indoctrination of university students.
3. Public Understanding and Awareness: (pg 17) outlines "...people must become media literate and able to analyze the messages of corporate advertisers." The use of the media, entertainment, and advertising by Agenda 21 has been discussed in previous posts.
4. Training: (pg 17) Through formal and non-formal means "education is a socially transforming process."
5. Reorienting Education: (pg 18) is perhaps the most frightening and related to Common Core. "It...addresses learning skills, perspectives, and values that guide and motivate people to seek sustainable livelihoods, participate in a democratic society, and live in a sustainable manner." "...involves studying...global issues." "...(i.e., knowledge, skills, perspectives, values, and issues) must all be addressed in a formal curriculum that has been reoriented to address sustainability." "Deciding what to leave out—what does not contribute to sustainability or is obsolete—is an integral part of the reorienting process."
In accordance to ESD principles:
1. Knowledge: (pg 19) "...let go of those topics that have been successfully taught for years but are no longer relevant."
2. Issues: Extending beyond Agenda 21 referenced on page 20, the toolkit now includes the issues of "...such as war and militarism, governance, discrimination and nationalism, renewable energy sources, multinational corporations, refugees, nuclear disarmament, human rights, and media influencing rapid change of worldviews." Isn't it interesting that BHO has introduced most of these issues into our nation?
3. Skills: (pg 22) outlines the skills the toolkit predetermines for education.
4. Perspectives: (pg 22) are perspectives for ESD stating, "When taught to a generation of pupils, such perspectives will become infused into local world views."
5. Values: Social Justice is the value that should be taught (pg 23)
Page 27 outlines "disciplinary contributions" for math and ELA.
Mathematics: helps students understand extremely small numbers (e.g., parts per hundred, thousand, or million), which allows them to interpret pollution data.
Language Arts: especially media literacy, creates knowledgeable consumers who can analyze the messages of corporate advertisers and see beyond "green wash." Now we know why they will be reading pamphlets.
Reading: develops the ability to distinguish between fact and opinion and helps students become critical readers of political campaign literature.
History and Social Studies are also listed.
One last note, page 35 outlines how to use teachers to implement ESD:
"Institutions of teacher education are ideally situated to play central roles in educational reform, and teacher educators are the key change agents. Teacher educators train new teachers, provide professional development for practicing teachers, consult with local schools, and provide expert opinion to regional and national ministries of education. Teacher educators write not only pre-service teacher-education curriculum, but also contribute to committees that create teacher-education standards and officially mandated curriculum for primary and secondary education. Because of this broad influence in curriculum design, implementation, and policy setting, faculty members of teacher-education institutions can bring about far-reaching educational reform...".
How many "educators" have been involved in changing your child's education through Common Core? How many are from UN affiliated universities, unions, or other organizations? How much input did you have as a parent to reorient your child to global citizenry? Take note, these were goals from 2005-2014, Common Core will be in full implementation in 2014. Have they succeeded?
Here is an example of the corporate corruption taking place behind Common Core.
According to the Washington Post, Pearson Charitable Foundation, the nonprofit arm of educational publishing giant Pearson, UN partner, "...created Common Core products to generate “tens of millions of dollars” for its corporate sister."
Not only is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, UN NGO, a major contributor to the Common Core Standards but "...announced in 2011 that it would work with the Pearson Foundation to create reading and math courses aligned with the new standards." "...the Pearson Foundation sold the courses to its corporate sister for $15.1 million." The law states, "...non-profit foundations cannot misuse charitable assets to benefit their affiliated for-profit corporations." The foundation paid out $7.7 million dollars in the settlement.
An article by Arkansas Times, revealed how the Foundation for Education Excellence, how laws are being written that benefit corporations. Apparently state superintendents are jumping into bed with corporations to create policies that financially benefit the corporations, shocker. It makes one wonder whether or not Tom Luna has or will engage in the same as he has met with Jeb Bush, perhaps to work out a deal for the Bush founded, Foundation for Education Excellence. What makes it impossible for Tom Luna to see the light?
The United States Department of Agriculture has a rural development program. High density cities for human settlements provides housing above businesses but also in multi-family housing projects. Here is Agenda 21's vision of human settlements.
Remembering the United Nations (UN) program "The Future We Want", here is a pilot project they are working on in Kansas City, Missouri. The United Nations designing an American city. Here is a UN document describing the benefits of social housing, look at page 70.
The UN also promotes the development and use of mass transportation and limited car use for the sake of the environment. But it also removes freedom. The federal government has created an interagency partnership between the Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, and Housing and Urban Development. This Partnership for Sustainable Communities promotes transportation choices that reduce car use.
Chapter 7.5.(a)(e) of Agenda 21 calls for shelter for all and transport systems for human settlements. If you look around the Boise area you will notice the increase in multi-family housing units and the ongoing discussion about mass transportation development in downtown Boise. Just a couple more areas that Agenda 21 is being accomplished in Idaho.
As noted in the 10/15/13 post, Agenda 21, Advertising and the Media under the Common Core category, Agenda 21 has been using the media, entertainment, and advertising to indoctrinate all of us. To review:
Chapter 36, Promoting Education, Public Awareness and Training
36.10.e "Countries and the United Nations system should promote a cooperative relationship with the media, popular theatre groups, and entertainment and advertising industries by initiating discussions to mobilize their experience in shaping public behaviour and consumption patterns and making wide use of their methods."
The UN has multiple media and entertainment business partners through the UN Business, UN Global Compact, UN Foundation, and World Business Council on Sustainable Development. Some examples are Viacom, Discovery Channel, and The Walt Disney Company,
Agenda 21 promotes social justice and diversity and is using entertainment to promote this ideology. Another channel is the Discovery Channel. It too has programs that orient thinking towards diversity and the animal world.
Consider advertising. Have you noticed the inclusion of information from foreign countries? We now have ads that include actors speaking in a different language with English subtitles, foreign accents, and global themes. The UN and Agenda 21 want us to think globally, that we are not sovereign but "inclusive" of a larger world.
The next time a commercial airs think about the subtle message it is giving you, is it trying to convey that your culture is not exceptional or unique and there are other cultures you need to accept, promote conservation and green energy, convince you about how you should be eating more healthy, does it promote the traditional family unit. Look for themes of diversity, social justice, equity, and environmentalism. Are these same ideologies in the programs that you watch?
A National Academy of Sciences (NAS) report released 12/3/13 states, "...sudden changes in the earth's climate could occur much sooner than scientists originally calculated. The earliest changes could occur in decades, if not sooner, according to the report."
NAS is a non-profit that is associated with the United Nations (UN). In the article it points out that the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) "...predicted major changes in temperature to gradually begin to change anywhere from 2030 to 2095. But the report by the National Academy of Sciences claims the climate is noticably [sic] heating up at a quicker pace than originaly [sic] predicted." The UCS is a UN NGO.
The UN is stepping up the urgency to prepare for climate disasters and now it looks like these two UN affiliated organizations are stepping up the warnings to comply.
The United Nations holds forums on Human Settlements "...to educate the general public on the efforts of the United Nations and its member countries in improving the ecological environment and human settlements in various parts of the world, to promote United Nations Habitat Agenda and the ecological civilization and to help the poor and suffering achieve a better quality of life, to promote the world harmony and sustainable development."
"Our values and cultures are in urgent need of changing" according to John C. Topping , President of Climate Institute, USA. He also claimed, "Now, by popularizing UN Agenda among the local governments and private sector, GFHS has provided a high-level platform for them to learn and benefit from one another, supplied opportunities in which they could work together and strive to improve the quality of human life." He must be referencing how the Chamber of Commerce has invaded us with their Regional Stewardship program, how our federal regulations force us to follow and receive federal dollars (our money), how the American Planning Association has indoctrinated their planners to create human settlements, how the Urban Land Institute and Smart Growth indoctrinate mayors and council members, and how corporations have joined in to make money. Now that our education system has been taken over by the UN he can state openly, "Education leads to changes of people’s mind. To achieve this goal, we must train our children from the earliest childhood; to achieve this goal, we need to take their little hands to dutifully join with our big hands. We can choose to walk; we may choose to be vegetarians; we can conserve water and save electricity... We practice diligence and frugality... We walk our talk and make a little into a mickle. In terms of building low-carbon cities, standards must be unified." That must mean American cities look exactly the same as any other city in the world.
The National Academy of Sciences (NAS), a UN Global Compact business partner, is in support of the Global Forum on Human Settlements and John C. Topping, leading us down the path to a meatless society. After all, "...commercial livestock farming increases...methane... and carbon dioxide.... And ...fertilizers and manure release nitrogen into natural systems such as rivers, upsetting their natural balance." Whatever that means.
The UN has been successful in using our government, non-profits, professional organizations, education system, and corporations against America to degrade our culture, indoctrinate us, and change our system of government. There is no reason to believe they will stop now.
