Here is a follow up article on that city by the Weekly Standard, whose citizens had their private property seized by the development corporations. Note that we have development corporations in Boise, Capital City Development Corporation, and in Nampa, Nampa Development Corporation and many others around the state. Development corporations are given much power and authority to declare areas as blighted or to take private property by eminent domain.
