STEM has an education coalition, StemEd, whose purpose is to work "...aggressively to raise awareness in Congress, the Administration, and other organizations about the critical role that STEM education plays in enabling the U.S. to remain the economic and technological leader of the global marketplace of the 21st century." It is an "...alliance of more than 500 business, professional, and education organizations...".
Microsoft, UN business partner, is member of StemED.
UN NGO's that are members include the Education Development Center Inc., Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
There are several other affiliate members including the American Federation of Teachers, a UN NGO.
Chief Executive Officers of leading U.S. companies gathered together to form an association called the Business Roundtable (BRT) and has annual revenues of $7.4 trillion. It is no surprise their members include multiple UN business partners. This organization fully supports StemEd and the National Governors Association which is also affiliated with the UN (see 11/24 post National Governors Association). They even wrote a letter to the Governors encouraging them to support the implementation of Common Core. And why shouldn't they, more money for them, more indoctrination of kids, more control over the workforce to meet their needs, and further movement towards a fascist state in America, complements of Agenda 21 and the UN. No longer will children make the decision on what they want to be in life, it will be predetermined by corporations, the UN, and the government.
The United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, UNESCO has even joined in supporting STEM, signing an agreement with Intel, a UN business partner.
Seems Tom Luna is once again agreeing to the corporate world and the UN to proceed forward with Common Core.
