OECD just came out with its study on global education systems and cited the U.S. system with continued low performance.
"...comes down to high standards, a will to improve, and especially an elevation of the teaching profession. "We really have to decide as a country it is important for all kids to master rigorous concepts and learn to think."
Is it no wonder the report reflects this, the OECD is a UN NGO. This is a classic example once again of a UN organization indoctrinating us to believe that their information is true and accurate. There is no reason to believe any UN organizations report. Given the objection to Common Core this is one method used to promote the idea that we need Common Core for higher standards, rigorous content, and an elevation of the teaching professions, all UN goals, because after all their report proves it. It makes one wonder what the real truth is about our educational system and its' standing in the world.
