Conservation Easements - More Idaho land in United Nations hands
As noted in previous posts under Private Property the Nature Conservancy, a UN NGO, has participated in taking Idaho land under the guise of conservations easements. The eventual goal is to lock up land in patches eventually creating a swath of banned use land through the Wildlands Project and Y2Y. In the Salmon and Teton areas there are efforts underway for further restrictions of land use.
The Sonoran Institute's board of directors aren't even native Idahoans. Examples of some connections to the United Nations:
Bill Mitchell - advisor to Tides
Dennis Minano - former General Motors VP, UN business partner
Joe Kalt - Ford Foundation professor, UN NGO
Bryan Morgan - worked for Environmental Defense Fund, UN NGO
John Case - member of the National Park Conservation Association's Northern Rockies Regional Council, a UN NGO
Louise Plank - board interests include the Wyoming Chapter of The Nature Conservancy, a UN NGO
Barton (Buzz) Thompson - California trustee of The Nature Conservancy, UN NGO
According to the Sonoran Institute, in the Northern Rockies, the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness in Idaho, and the Greater Yellowstone region have poorly-planned private land development that threatens key wildlife corridors and winter range, and poor land-use planning threatens the very foundation of the regional economy. They know better than us to take control of Idaho land. Here are the plans for Teton County.
The Salmon Valley Stewardship is another non-profit looking to take charge of land use. Here is their newsletter from Fall 2013 that outlines land that was put into a conservation easement in conjunction with the Nature Conservancy. The winter 2013 newsletter touts more land taken and how our own Mike Simpson helps these groups in taking more land (pg 3). This land grab has been going on since 2010.
Beware, the Salmon Valley Stewardship has a community program for you. This plan will have severe restrictions, see the 10/13/13 post, Kootenai County Comprehensive Plan, to see what is happening in that area.
One last organization, the Heart of the Rockies Initiative. One of their partners is the Nature Conservancy and other land trusts that are traitors to Idaho. By their own admission the goal is to "... bind the greater landscape together." This is their "High Divide Collaborative", notice the map enclosure in Idaho where sections of land will be stitched together. Here is the amount of land they have taken in Idaho. And notice the connection with the Nature Conservancy.
The bottom line is that our western lands are under attack by UN connected people and organizations to take our land, restrict our right to land ownership and use, all under the Agenda 21 plan. When will you become involved to protect Idaho land from further invasion and take our land back?
This website is non-partisan and is solely dedicated to removing the harmful controls placed on our state and nation through Agenda 21 and its associated programs. We invite all Idahoans to join us in this fight for freedom!
